But plasterboard takes a significant part when constructing new family houses the reason for which is a number of advantages plasterboards have in comparison with the traditional way of the interior constructing.

Assembling interiors in a so called dry way is a modern way of construction. Plasterboard can't be considered as a replacement of traditional masonry or concrete. Plasterboard crossbars, ceilings or other plasterboard constructions can be used everywhere where the masonry doesn't carry other floors or heavy masonry installed facilities.

The advantage of plasterboard is also its non-flammability – it is able to protect or slow down the penetration of fire into the other spaces and floors - it’s special anti-fire plasterboard for constructions with the higher fire-resistance requirements. Builders also estimate good heating and sound isolation characteristics especially in combination with the mineral cotton wool added. Plasterboard doesn’t burden the carrying basis of the building so it can be applied to any construction including historical buildings which were not intended to be under further construction works.
